Burgers in 2014.

Everyone knows I've got a soft spot for a juicy patty covered in melted cheese and sandwiched in a lightly toasted brioche bun, but in 2014, I'm going to take this mother up a notch and set myself some burger-based goals. I've compiled a list of all the burger restaurants in London I haven't yet been to but want to visit with ample enthusiasm.

I went to one of them a couple of weeks ago so that review will be appearing in the coming days. The rest are future endeavors.

If you have any other suggestions of burger bars you have found to be particularly delicious, or a restaurant you would like reviewed by someone as sarcastic as they are hungry, write me a comment and I'll add it to the list.

And if you want to come eat burgers with me, please do. Just, if you wouldn't mind, don't be a rapist and/or murderer.

Red Dog Saloon - Hoxton

Burger and Lobster - Soho

MeatLiquor - Soho

Five Guys - Covent Garden

Shake Shack - Covent Garden

Bukowski Grill - Shoreditch

Lucky Chip - Bethnal Green

  1. That picture has actually made me salivate... I need to check out some more burger places, I've only really been to Byron so far. I'll come and eat burgers with you (and I'm not a rapist/murderer/stalker).

  2. Have you tried Dirty Burger? That was pretty epic. It was in this small shack in Kentish Town but warning.... the burger menu consists of the following: Cheese Burger.

  3. Five Guys is one of my favourite places here in the US for burgers - well worth playing a little extra for and the amount of fries you get is amazing! Be interesting to see how they go down in the UK.

  4. I have never really "got" the burger thing. I've been to Byron and they're ok and all, but I don't know that I like burgers enough to want to go to all the busy places for them.

    1. When we last went to Byron we'd tried some others (I think Five Guys was one) and there were queues for an hour to get in to the place.
